Sex and Love - Questions & Answers

I saw a TV documentary film in the UK about prostitutes in the USA in Nevada. When I was in the USA my then husband and I had seen the outside of the Chicken Ranch, a legal brothel, but had not met anybody from there.

The TV programme was fascinating. Three things struck me:

1 Several of the girls were very pretty and worked in because they needed money but wanted to get out of that line of work but felt they had no other choice. One said she had 'no marketable skills'.

2 They still wanted to be living as a couple with a marriage partner in order to feel desirable and happy. I find this particularly interesting as so many men on adult sites seem outraged by the idea that any woman here is not looking for a one night stand but 24/7 and a long term relationship, affection, devotion, love. Well, I've now heard it from prostitutes. Just because you want sex, or provide sex, it does not mean that you don't want love.

Just because you feel like a drink, doesn't mean that you never intend to eat again. Just because you like sex, doesn't mean you don't like affection and companionship and love.

If the men are as brilliant at sex as they claim, why would you prefer to spend every night of the year after you've met them with somebody else, or alone, rather than seeing them again?
