What's going on - has this site changed - should I change?

I never discovered why this site has two names. I presume they bought up a site called passion. I often type in passion because it's quicker.

But now the ads for porn videos are appearing on the adult site but not on the passion site.

Yet everything else stays the same.

Is it going to affect me? Will the kind of person contacting me change? Will the good people disappear? Will people's view of me change?

So far it hasn't made a difference.

Same as before. Nine out of ten people want instant sex and haven't read my profile, maybe because they are only standard members. But I make a connection and email and sometimes meet the small number who can write an email consisting of more than one sentence and relating to my profile and telling me something positive about themselves and actually suggesting a dinner date.

If I'm a tiny minority and the majority of customers want that, or if the small number who do are increasing the company's profits, then my concerns won't influence them.

I do have choices. And I'm thinking about them.
I've had good value from this site. Blogs, blings. And friends.

But I just can't log into certain types of pop up stuff. I'm not taking my laptop to do conference presentations because I am scared of what will pop up.

Though oddly enough when I went to my computing lesson it was the teacher who was apologizing to me because he was logging into video sites which were 'a bit violent' to show me the difference between websites dominated by text and those mainly graphic.

What is your experience and prediction?
