missing the beach

I was sitting around today watching the snow flurries and wishing that it was summer again. It's going to be another 7 months before it's beach weather again.

I spent more time at the nude beach this year than I have for the past few years. I'd go every day if I could, but unfortunately the weather and commitments get in the way.

I usually go to Patricia Beach - I find it much more couple oriented than Beaconia. I enjoy soaking up the rays, cooling off in the lake, and watching all the naked people in a friendly, non-sexual, environment. Sure, there's sometimes a bit of activity back in the bushes where there isn't much traffic, and some nice isolated spots, but the majority of people are there to enjoy the weather.

Almost everyone is friendly, and it's so easy to strike up a conversation with anyone. Maybe it's something about everyone being naked that makes it easier - nobody has anything to hide. There are quite a few regulars, but on weekends there's always a few people out for the first tme. I'm encouraged that in the last few years there are more young people coming out. It bodes well for the future of the beach.

If you haven't tried it, at least think about coming out some day next summer. There are people of all ages, sizes, and shapes - so you won't stand out. Weekends are generally fairly busy and weekdays are generally much less so.

See you next summer - I can hardly wait.

 i miss the beach too......but not the nude beach .....the one in minnedosa here.....it is hard with it soooo close and the weather soooo bad....oh well only 7 months of waiting......
i might have to try the nude beaches next year though

 Nothing wrong with a show of affection ... just have to be aware if there's anyone around
