This madness we call life! Lead me to that light... Take where you have gone... Why must I get left behind... it's like I'm standing here all alone... The nights are lonely, the days have been cold... I want to be were you are, to be held in your arms... It is like, I'm standing still, and time goes by.... Why does life, feel like such a lie... No one really ever happy, just tears that we all cry... when is it all going to end? This madness we call life! The days are lonely and the nights are long... I pray I don't hear our favorite song... For that would cause one more tear to be shed dear... Waiting again for someone special to love me again here... here on earth, while your in heaven... I wait, for what I think? While I sit and wait life passes me by. I know that is not what you would have wanted me to do. You always said you were a survivor and I can be one too, just for you. To live the way you wanted me to be. To feel alive and be free. To be me, but how can that be with out you. You showed me life, you gave me all and ask for nothing in return. Now I feel empty and hurt, without you to take and fill that space. But there you are, I know you are still here. I feel your presents you wipe away that tear. So for now I may not be able to hold you but you will for always be in my heart. By Mel Friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly. Live as if there is no tomorrow!! You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. |
