Day 9

Last week I made a decision base on frugality like most people on fixed incomes generally do monthly. I could have gone to a big Meet and Greet party in my home state of Texas last Friday had it not been so costly. The prospect of meeting many of the people I have chatted with in the Texas Room excited me. The opportunity to discuss face to face many of the topics mention in the chat room had me leaning toward attending the meet and greet party.

On Saturday of the same week my high school class had scheduled our yearly Christmas Party. I hadn't seen many of my classmate in nearly forty years. The thought of seeing my classmates intrigued me especially seeing how the hand of time has changed them. That desire along became the mitigating factor as to which party I planned to attend. To be quite honesty, my primary reason for attending my high school class party was to see the the girls now women I had a crush on.

The total cost of the meet and greet trip would have been between $700 to $800 dollars the great portion of the money spent on fuel. Since the Ford F-150 consumption fuel of would eat a substantiate portion of my cash, I decided the fifteen mile drive to Galveston would be more economical. Let party closer to home base.
