My New Year's Wish
It's simple
But it's also epic.
To finally find
The love
I have been missing.

How can I miss
Something I never had?
It is my soul's promise
It is instinctive.

I wonder if you will be
My New Year's Wish
Come true
Please don't make
Me wait
Much longer.
Even though
I have not
Always been good
I have hurt mostly myself

Let my wish
Be granted
I will do my very best
To pay it forward.
I will love you
The person
With my being's
Every fiber.
I will have
More than enough
As love replenishes itself
Like a renewable<b> resource.</font></b>
