New York City '79 - '84
New York City '79 - '84 New York City '79 - '84 It's where I lived. A place called Bretton Hall on the upper West Side. 2350 Broadway between 85th & 86th St I was working at a major Recording Studio in midtown. Such a great time to be living in the city. Hitting all the clubs at the time. So good to be young. My two favorite clothing stores were Trash & Vaudeville Fiorucci Subway was .50 cents. Ed Koch was mayor I'm so into Networking... Did you live or work in NYC at that time? Have a great day... ~Holly ~Holly Atlantic City, NJ |

in june of 79 i was near you,as i hit my new assignment to one of the last navy ships in the brooklyn navy yard.that was when we would take the subway to yankee stadium because service members got in free and could sit anywhere,as long as the seat holder wasnt there.i also remember the candystores..just random buildings with plexiglass counter windows to buy a trey or nickle bag...$3 or $5 packet of buds.this lasted till september,as the ship left the yard and hit its permanent station just across the bay in leonardo nj.i kept one of our spare reciever radios tuned to that station too in the radio shack of the ship. woop woop
