Well, as I stated in the previous post, I've been sick for over a week now. I thought it was strep, but I just got back from the doctor. I've got friggin' pneumonia!!! No wonder it wouldn't go away!!! So, maybe more tomorrow when, hopefully, I will be feeling much better.

Well, ever since being exposed to Blogland (and I sincerely hope that the person that did this stops by sometime, if it hadn't been for her, I would have never ventured into Blogland), I have considered starting one of my own. I hadn't done so up until now for fear that no one would read it or that I would really just not have anything worthwhile or funny to say. That may STILL be the case. But over the past few days, I have been asked why I hadn't started one of my own and been told that I should. So, here I am.
So, I will start off with something a little serious, a brief explanation of something that is important to me.On my profile, I profess to live my life by "the Attitude of Gratitude". Basically, that means that I am thankful, grateful for anything that comes along in my life, even things that I don't like...ESPECIALLY the things I don't like. It is very easy to enunciate this, much more difficult to actually LIVE it. I don't accomplish this every minute of every day, but it is something that I give my best effort to and be conscious of at all times. I say it's not easy because not everything is going the way I'd like it to in my life right now, but I have found that it is still better to do this than any other perspective I have taken in my few years on this plane of existence. Positive Mental Attitude...not easy, but that's it, in a nutshell.
Now, for my other favorite perspective...humor. Since we have just passed the holiday of Thanksgiving, what do I have to be thankful for? Well, its a big holiday in my family, because we actually have a family reunion on Thanksgiving Day. And I have been sick with strep throat for the whole past week and I missed the whole thing, so, what a bummer, right? Well, no, because, since I was sick at home all alone (whining now), I was able to view the "Thanksgiving Bondathon" on SPIKETV.
Well, that's enough for now. In the future, I'm sure I will expound here on the verities of the universe, but also, I will just try to have a good time...because again, I don't think we are put here to have a bad time of it. Here's to hoping to have a GOOD TIME.
