View the larger image to get the complete picture. If you haven't voted on any else yet ( vote per member) please Like and comment on my photo as a vote for me , thanks. Sorry if you were hoping for more but its all I've got, it does get bigger when I get excited...
"They" have used my photos every month since I entered my first contest to start off the entries, for some reason. Whatever, am I the who can see them or do they do this for everybody who enters a contest? IDK
Update, They seem to have corrected this this month, April, 2022 or is it for the may, 2022 contest?

I'm a std (non-) member. Apparently members of my status had their blogging privileges disabled by BBW Tonight for some new admin reason or another. But I still seem to have access thru an overlooked "side door" sort of. Whatever, BBW Tonight can do what they want with their I'm just happy to get back to my blog.

If you haven't read my previous post, "In pusuit of..." now might be a good time.
So my Urologist wants to take me off my meds for my Enlarged Prostate Condition, otherwise known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, If you dont have it, be grateful and I sort of envy you but sort of not though. Hes concerned about the long term affects, like after years or so of being on the meds. Its been a couple of years now for me. The meds I take are just about enuf to allow me to live a normal life. But hes been strongly suggesting that I have my urethra bored out instead (the TURP procedure), in the prostate area. Thats the best thing he had offer instead of continuing the meds.
Uh wow.
So I said, what about Female (H)ormone (R)eplacement (T)herapy?
He said he had no objections, he just had know the specific treatment(s) involved but it should help me where I would no longer need the meds.
Oh wow. My urologist approves.
So all I need do is get an Endocrinologist identified and get started. Wow. Will my insurance also for the removal/change-out of the whole enchilada?
Well see what happens. Stay tuned.
Aug 6. 21 I talked with my Primary Care doctor yesterday, great doctor, had him for 5 or 6 years now, When I asked him for a referral to an Endocrinologist or HRT/Trans doctor he said it was out of his expertise but he would see what he could recommend. But he told me to continue into it myself and if I found someone I liked he would be happy to write up a referral for me.
So I found a doctor and called. It turns out I need a letter of approval from a Psychologist stating that I am a good candidate to receive female hormones, essentially, I thin Once the endocrinologist receives that they can proceed with the hormone therapy.
I hope I can convince the psychologist that I really do want the the treatment and that Im not just some weirdo.
8//21 Its not like getting a flu shot. Im learning about starting HRT, I have to find a therapist who is familiar with writing a Letter of Approval in order to get hormones administered. Maybe undergo multiple sessions before the Therapist arrives at a verdict. IDK
Some of you familiar with the process may be laughing at me now for being so naive about the whole thing. Its a pain. Do I need to start shopping for groceries in a skirt and heels before they think Im ready? Maybe, or not IDK
8/27/21 After calling a couple Therapists (found thru the Internet from Trans support groups) I was getting disappointed and discouraged, and I had another health issue pop up distracting me. I had called my insurance provider over a week ago asking if they could recommend a Therapist but I think I got dropped while they tried to connect me with the right dept, I never heard back, so I called again and this time I got a list from them and I got an appointment with a Therapist.
But the therapist wont render a decision until six sessions, spaced two weeks apart have been completed then the actual hormones may start. What is she going to ask me? My first appt. is in two weeks.
