I've seen alot of my fellow bloggers using these in their blogs,& i think that it's a great idea,so i hope you don't mind if i follow suit.
I've noticed that there are far more visitors to my blog than actually comment in it,& thats fine.
It would be nice however if you'd say hello on your travels,& let me know you've been here.

Dad.............
No Dad to sit & talk to now,& have a laugh or two,

You were a Dad,so very rare,always smiling,& showing care,
Content within your home,I always found you there.

Hi there,
I'm wondering how soon into meeting someone do you begin to talk about sex?
If you've met someone for the first time,does the subject of sex come up in the conversation early on,or would you wait until the next time you meet?
When it DOES cum up,do you go all out & discuss EVERYTHING like positions,favorite places to have sex,& preferences?
If there was something a little bit kinky that you liked,say for example,being spanked,would you discuss it at that time,or wait until you got to know one another a bit better?
Sometimes i often throw something into the mix,just for shock value to gage a reaction.Do you do,or say things early on for shock value?
Would it put you off someone if they spoke about sex too much in the early stages of meeting someone?
I'm just interested to know what you think.

I don't know the reason why,but i seem to be drawing a blank today.
I don't know what to talk about with you today.
I see that i've lost 6 watchers from my list.I guess that one needs to keep posting here everyday to maintain the numbers.
I'm sorry to those of you who are disappointed every day when you look in & don't see a post.I've been finding it hard to motivate myself to be honest.
Maybe you could help me by suggesting some topics for me to write about?
I try to keep things meaningful with my posts as much as i can,but i have to admit that i'm finding it hard these days even to write some jokes.
I know it all seems like doom & gloom with me at the moment.I'm SO sorry that i'm not brighter.
I'm just going through the motions at the moment.
I go from bed to work,back home,& then back to bed again.
I think i need a holiday....Only a few days to go until i fly to Mallorca with my Brother for some badly needed respite.I'm Leaving next Thursday evening,August 21st,& returning the following Friday morning 29th
August.
Hopfully the weather will be good & uplifting,& we'll have some fun,as well as a well earned rest for BOTH of us.
For those of you that have remained watchers of my blog....."THANK YOU"! I promise that when i return,i will be alot more sprightly,& upbeat.

A stranger was seated next to a little girl on a plane,when he turned around to her & said "lets talk"."I've heard that flights seem to go quicker if you strike up a conversation with a fellow passenger".
The little girl,who had just opened her book,
closed it slowly & said to the stranger,"what would you like to talk about then?"
"Oh i don't know,how about Nuclear Power?" he says with a smile.
"Ok,that could be an interesting topic to talk about,but let me ask you a question first".
"A ,a Cow,& a Deer all eat the same stuff...Grass,yet a Deer excretes little pellets,

The stranger,surprised by the little girls intelligence,thinks about his answer & says.."Hmmm

The little girls turns around & looks at the guy &

Hi there,
Well I've just got the hair cut nice & neat,looks okay.Going to have a good grooming session now,
nails cut,clean shave in all areas,have a nice long bath,& apply all the usual gels & smells to myself to make me look good & smell even better.
I hav'nt been out on the town for ages,so i rang the brother,& we're hitting the town big tonight.
I have new threads for the occasion,a nice short sleeved shirt,with a summery look to it..lol.
Glistening polished shoes,so i can dazzle,& a splash of Jean Paul Gaultier to finish off the look.
I can feel it...tonight is going to be a great night...something that i feel i NEED.I don't know where we'll end up,but i don't care really,so long as the music is good,& the conversation is flowing,as well as the drinks.
As i said,i hav'nt been out in ages & i'm SO looking forward to letting whats left of my hair down.
Do YOU have a beauty regime that you adhere to before you go out?
How long does it take you to get ready?
What makes YOU feel good about yourself when you go out? Is it that nice new Blouse/Shirt or those nice new shoes that you treated yourself to?
Whatever it is,if you go out this weekend,have fun & enjoy yourself.
Afterall,we only live once,so we may as well live it fully!

Hi there,
I've been watching the news,& listening to the radio in the last while,& there is alot being said
about the Olympics,in the lead up to the start of the games on friday
It's a pity that such a tremendous event seems to be already marred by political,& civil rights issues.
There are alot of oportunistic groups using the games as a platform for their cause,which is taking away from the REAL meaning of the games.
I know that China has alot of faults,including some civil rights issues,particularly around their occupation of Tibet,but is that enough to upset one of the worlds greatest events on the calender?
Surely the message of the Olympics should always prevail? That the athletes of the world should join & compete in peaceful harmony.
No matter what race sex or creed,ALL are equal on the tracks,& in the fields,& in the pools etc.Surely THAT is where all the battles should be faught,& NOT on our streets?
Will you be watching the Olympic Games this year?
What do you think of the issues surrounding the Games?
Should we just all enjoy the SPORT,& leave the politics OUT of the Games?
I'm looking forward to the games,in particular the swimming events.I hope that they will be a success despite the troubles surrounding the games.
I hope that you enjoy them too if your watching.

A Rough couple of days....

Hi there,
Sorry that i hav'nt posted again for a few days,i hav'nt been online much in the last week.
It has been a rough few days with BOTH of my mums ill at the moment.
My birth mother went in for a knee replacement operation last week,got through that allright,but began to have heart palpatations,& loss of blood pressure.She needed to be taken to another hospital for two days,just so she could be monitored.
She went back to the first hospital on Monday,& has even been sent home,because she has made rapid progress with her new knee.She's even walking on it after just over a week.I think that great.She's such a fighter,& won't let something like a knee operation get her down.
My mum at home is another story altogether.She is very ill at present with a terminal Cancer.Nothing can be done for it,& she remains on Paliative care from the Hospice here in Dublin.They are controlling her pain with tablets which is fine,but it's the other things going wrong that are causing her worry.
I've changed my working routine so that i can be here nearly all the time,making sure shes ok,but i have to admit that i'm finding it hard on my own.
On top of all the physical problems associated with her condition,her sleeping has become very irratic,& she seems to be totally exhausted all the time.
The night before last,she got NO sleep what-so-ever until finally yesterday she went to bed at 6.30pm.She slept until around 9.55pm when she woke up with a startle.She came into my room in a panic,& crying out looking for me.
All she kept saying was that she thought she was dying,& was afraid to leave me.
After calming her down,she told me that she had just had a "vision" of my Nana,Grandad,& my Dad in her room with her,& that she took that as a sign that they were calling her to Heaven.She also said that she "felt" like that something "bad" was going to happen to her soon.
All i could do was to hold her,& reassure her that she may had just had a bad dream
that woke her up,but she was SO convinced at what she saw.She was terrified from it.
I have to admit that i was kind of panicking as well,& i rang the Hospice 24 hour line to ask them for advice on the subject.They maintained that it may just have been a bad dream,like i said,& that i should give her another sleeping tablet to calm her down,& let her rest.
We sat downstairs for a while chatting about what had just happened,after i had given her some of her nightly pills.We discussed the whole thing,& i tried to reassure her that things were ok,& that she was'nt going to die.
I did'nt dismiss her vision as nonsense,but rather
embraced it as maybe something positive.I tried to reason with her that they MAY have been trying to let her know that they were there,& that she was'nt alone in her fight against the cancer.
We looked at OTHER possible reasons for her vision
& i did my best to put a positive slant on most of them.
She suddenly felt this urge to SEE her old home where she grew up with nana & grandad.It's not that far away,& my aunts still live there.So i took her in the car,& we drove up to the house at around 11.30pm last night.I told her to touch the door,& let her close the gate upon leaving the garden.I guess in MY mind,this was a form of
"Closure" for her.
I don't think that it was an odd request,& thats why i brought her.I looked upon it as her way of tying up some loose ends,but i did'nt tell her that.Today,i'm going to take her to see Dads grave
once again,& i think i might go to nana & grandad's grave too,just so she feels happy about seeing them one last time,assuming of course it is.
I know that this is a weird posting to have here,& i hope that you don't mind me sharing my thoughts with all of you on this subject.
It's just that i am alone here with mum,& i don't really have anyone else to talk with about it.
Have YOU ever had an experience like this with one of your relatives?
Do you think such "Visions" DO exist?
Do you think that i handled it well,or would you have done anything differently?
Your thoughts would be very much appreciated on this.I know it's kind of morbid,but i REALLY DO NEED to hear what YOU think on it,as it will be a great help to me in coping with my situation.

A very beautiful woman loved growing tomatoes,but could'nt seem to get them to turn red.One day while taking a stroll,she came upon a neighbour who had the most wonderful garden,full of huge red tomatoes.
The woman asked the man,"What do you do to get your tomatoes so red like that?"He replied by saying.."Well twice a day i stand in front of my tomato garden,& expose myself.My tomatoes turn red from blushing so much"!
The woman was SO impressed that she decided to try doing the same thing in her own garden to see if it would work.So,twice a day for two weeks,she exposed herself to her garden,naked & hoping for the best.
One day her neighbour was passing by her house,so he dropped in to ask her how she got on."By the way,how did you get on with your tomatoes,did they turn red for you?"
"No...she replied....but my cucumbers are enormous!"..lol
