Come in, sit down, chill out, take a break and enjoy the ride. You can ride it as often as you'd like, although there are no real guarantees where it will take you. Feel free to leave comments with the attendant, all maintenance requests will be taken under advisement. If you would like to speak with the manager of this ride please do so, however, keep in mind that he responds best to invitations from beautiful intelligent women. If you are not lucky enough to be one of these types of customers you may still leave a note, it will be read, eventually.
As usual keep hands and feet inside the ride at all times, if you have motion sickness or any aversions to intense physical activity this ride may not be for you.
The following symptoms are quite common after leaving this ride; weakness in the legs or arms, cramping of the ab muscles, shortness of breath, increased blood flow to the heart and pelvic regions, hand prints, bite marks, fluid loss, and full body tingling. Having any or all of these symptoms is a sign that the ride is working properly. The manager greatly appreciates repeat customers, in fact he prides himself on his superior service record and attention to customer satisfaction. However, as with all rides, there are certain parts that just can't be tweaked or otherwise altered in order to preserve the integrity of the ride itself.

Stupid things and Holidays

Have you ever done something so stupid that you swore you'd never do it again, and you could never see why you were so damn dumb in the first place? Have you ever done that same thing again, and again? Well, I have, and I did it again earlier this week, and I think that this time it actually sunk in how stupid I'm being. Anyway, hopefully this moment of clarity will prevent me from doing this stupid thing again, cross my fingers, lol.
Holidays are wonderful, so long as you have family and friends to spend it with. However, this becomes a problem on Valentine's Day, a holiday for lovers. Doesn't quite work to spend it with your mom or your brother or like me, at work. So, consider this an invite, if you would like. We can do a Valentine's Day make-up.

Florida won the National Title last week, they destroyed Ohio State in a game that most of the country thought shouldn't even have included the Gators. "Expert" after "expert" said Michigan should have played Ohio State, well that idea was flushed down the toilet after USC trounced the Wolverines in the Rose Bowl. And after over a month of hearing they shouldn't be there, after the opening kickoff was returned for a touchdown, Florida proceded to disect the Buckeyes in every facet of the game. All hail Urban Meyer, after all, the "experts" didn't think his offense would work in the SEC.

It's times like these that make me so thankful for the wonderful people in my life. From the family I see on a weekly basis to the friends from college I haven't seen in nearly a year, I am a better person for having them around. I have a tendency of being negative and using this as a place to bitch, and today would have been the perfect day to do that what with Clemson dissapointing me to no end once again. However, I got some love from friends I haven't even talked to in months. It also made me realize I need to do a better job of keeping in touch. Anyway, that's my little insight for the day.

Die hards

You have to be a die hard fan to deal with Clemson and Carolina every year. Take Carolina last year; they beat Florida for the first time in 60 years and they beat Tennessee, and it seems like they can't figure it out against the other teams they are supposed to beat. Then you take Clemson this year; we start off hot, win all those games blowing people away, then we hand BC a win. We seem like we've got our act together after we destroy Georgia Tech. However, in usual Clemson fashion we get to damn big for our britches and don't show up against VT, by the way, whoever scheduled those games with 4 days in between is an idiot. Then we blow another game at Maryland. Finally we are able to right the ship and get some momentum, and with two weeks to prepare we blow another game with a 14 point lead to Carolina, where we miss a chip shot field goal to tie at the end. Clemson should be 11-1 playing in the ACC title game, instead we are heading for the Peach bowl or something like that. This is how it works for both teams every year. I guess it's better than Duke or North Carolina, where after the first two weeks they are already waiting on basketball season.

Twelve hour work days and six hour sleep nights make the heart and mind long for a time when there was always someone near to occupy the time. With no one around it makes the hard times oh so much harder. Some things in this world can only be healed through the touch of a good woman. Piled on top of the bullshit and dumbasses is all of the work that must be done to undo the messes caused by people who don't get it. And after that is done, there is still the original work left to do. Your boss talks about self care, however, when the guy that goes to the gym five days a week hasn't been in almost three months because there is too much shit to do, that means that there is too much shit to do. Spending four years of your life trying to achieve something and once you do, it undoes something else you have worked seven years of your life building. The walls have not come down, but the walls have begun to dwindle away. The once massive, thick and intimidating walls have atrophied from months of neglect. It's about time that the walls were built back up! At least, until the next idiot comes along and creates more work for overworked.
