In a deep voice an announcer intones: “And now the Virtual Broadcasting Corporation... the VBC presents its premiere coverage of Super Bowl XL.”
Theme music with trumpets and timpanis booms. An image of the legendary football coach dissolves into full form in a ghostly way on the screen. The black and white footage has him addressing his team:
“I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle -- victorious.”
And then he turns to the camera and says:
Are you ready for some football?!!!

The handcuffs are on. The muzzle is attached. No apologies. No regrets. I knew what I was doing and I knew where it could take me.
But I am back and I’ve promised to be good.
However, this means some changes around here. Punches will be pulled. The truth will have some rounded corners. A chill will be in the air.
No more revolts. No more helping friends in need. No more bucking the powers that be.
Don’t expect the monthly Report. Those are finished; a sorry casualty to the fallout dropping around here. Likely, no more installments of The House of Clones either. I still don’t agree with how my writing was labeled. But as I have said before, the writers here don’t get to make those decisions.*
Perhaps this comes at a good time. Work is picking up in the new year. That means less time to play here and post. We may need to go back into the fall’s low posting mode.
To those who asked after me, thank you. I saw your posts, Lust Goddess (UmmmmWhere the hell is Rock) and Dark Lord Nick (Breaking the silence). You find out who your best friends are when you are having troubles. Thanks so much to all who cared.
(Apologies, but when this was originally posted I had not seen the entry from [blog Bct2Esi], [post 198905]. Thanks for your support.)
So change is ahead. And so it goes....

Return the Princess from Exile!

Some of you may or may not know that [blog PrincessKarma] was exiled from BlogLand in late December.
A number of bloggers believe she was treated unfairly and request that the Administrators reinstate [blog PrincessKarma] to her blog and profile. At the time she was banished, [blog PrincessKarma] had the most popular blog in Central America and she was a well-known blogger internationally. At least one other blog run by [blog PrincessKarma] as an ancillary blog once her main blog was shuttered has also been closed.

If you agree that her punishment seems excessive, please add your name to the list in the comment section. By signing, you are not making a negative statement about any other member of this site. Indeed, this post is not aimed at any other member, other than to ask for the reinstatement of one member, [blog PrincessKarma]. Thank you.
